So disappointed with the service here. My mom’s dress was supposed to be ready on 11/2 but it wasn’t ready until 11/6. When we went to try it on, they forgot to hem her sleeves even though we had already discussed to hem them (they were extremely long) and we were already charged for this alternation. When we mentioned it to the lady, she immediately told us that we never told her to hem them, yet she was charging for it?!

She said that she would hem them but that she would have the dress ready by 11/8 which 6 whole days AFTER the dress was supposed to be done. I pretty much had to demand that we had to pick up the dress 11/7 in the afternoon because this was my mom’s mother of the bride dress and they finally agreed.

My mom went to pick up the dress today and they hemmed the sleeves totally wrong. They hemmed them in a circular shape instead of a straight hem?! This was SO DISAPPOINTING! The dress sleeves already had a straight hem- why would they make it circular?!?!

The man and woman there kept gaslighting my mom telling her that “it was supposed to be that way” even though it wasn’t.

They should respect what the customers are requesting, especially when they’re charging $160 CASH for the alterations!!!

The did not offer any resolution of any kind. No apologies, no discounts for their mistakes. NOTHING.

Definitely STAY AWAY from this business!!!

I needed my pants hemmed and was short on time. I was stressed out because I start my job in 2 days and my pants were too long. Thankfully Sew-N-So was able to accommodate me. They took me as a walk in and had my pants ready same day. Would definitely be coming back. Also, my pants fit perfect!!!!

It's definitely worth it. I was in a time pressing matter with my son's suit to get the pants altered. Thankfully, Patrick was so kind to do them as a walk-in. I am so thankful that he was willing to do it, and I was able to pick it up on the same day. Great service.

i highly recommend supporting this small business if you're in need of any sewing services. the people there were all very kind and helpful. i have visited them on multiple occasions and have ever only had one issue, but that was due to the material i was trying to get fixed, and nothing to do with their skill or hospitality ?
i also would like to highlight a time i came in to get a strap fixed on a tote bag i adore. the day i came in, in a random act of kindness, they fixed the strap immediately and didn't charge me. it also only took a minute or two.
below i have attached my most recent project i just received and i am thrilled with the results. thank you all so much ! 🙂

Great alterations specialist. They can service and mend tactical over the clothes vests. I brought him three from a recommendation from a Table Mountain Police Officer. I went back with more work. Everything came out great. Add velcro, brought the sides in, added pockets, adjusted the straps.

This place is awful. My dress was supposed to be done on April 15th. When to pick it up on April 20th and they had not even started it. I let then know that I needed the dress for my daughters wedding and I was leaving to to go out of town on Monday. They had my dress fir 3 weeks and had not even started it.They told me that they would start it and have it done that day. I finaly got a call Sunday afternoon letting me know it was done. I picked it up Monday morning. They did not offer me any type of refund. Will never recommend them.
