So, my friend and I went there after he heard about them through another friend! And it was some of the best food I’ve had in my 32 years of life! We each did the

“Leave it to the kitchen” and as such, we both got five courses different from each other, and each more tasty than the last!

Perfect amount of interaction with the staff, all very pleasant and friendly and wildly knowledgeable on their menu

Really delicious experience. My husband and I were in town for one night and we chose Progress for our date night restaurant. Every dish we had was flavorful, delicious, and felt very intentional. It's not a "showy" restaurant like some you will find in phx/scottsdale, but I love the neighborhood family vibe.

Drinks: Old Fashioned, Hearts on Fire, IPA, and an off menu cocktail the bartender made. The off-menu cocktail was by far my favorite - one of the best I had. So good. Hearts on Fire was balanced and refreshing. My husband said his IPA was one of the favorites he has had (and we are from Portland), but his Old Fashioned was a little weak for him, which is more personal preference.
Food: Soy Watermelon - super refreshing, great palate cleanser to start the meal. Fried Green Tomato + Burrata - I love anything with burrata and this was so good, the calabrian chili marmalade put it over the top. Lasagna - never had lasagna like this before, it was RICH and very good. Sour cherry crumb cake - also very good.

We enjoyed our experience at the restaurant, especially the wine area where we were seated, offering privacy and an impressive selection of wines. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about wine. We highly recommend the chef's tasting menu so you get to try different dishes that are offered at the restaurant. You can also request specific dishes to ensure you don't miss out on any favorites.

Actually, our server made this experience just perfect. She had a great personality, made excellent recommendations, and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious! My husband had a fried green tomato salad that was SO good! I had the schnitzel for my entree and loved it. We will go back to try the Octopus! This is a small, fun restaurant. We will definitely return and report on future experiences.

Great experience at restaurant progress. Food was was on point flavors were incredible on the pork belly I had. My wife had the tagliatelle and we shared the burrata. Yum to all things.
Tiny complaint would be portion for cost, not enough to dock anything from the overall rating

I had visited this place years ago when it first opened, and it seemed like they didn't have their sh*t together. Happy to report that it's now a well-oiled machine! We opted for the $75 five-course tasting menu so we could try a lot of different things. We absolutely loved all of the small plates that came out in the first three courses: the carrot tartare, fall salad, crudo, and lasagna were highlights. However, the main courses were completely forgettable compared to the apps, and we especially didn't like the chicken (it was shiny and moist to the point of being unappetizing). When I go back, I'll focus on the apps and skip entrees. The only other thing to note is that the wine list is pretty expensive.

This past weekend my girlfriend and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary, and made reservations at Restaurant Progress. We are so happy that we did the experience was amazing. As we walked in we were quickly greeted by Anthony, who also was our server for the evening. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. He was able to answer all of our questions that we had about the menu, we had a lot, and guide us through our dinner. We started the dinner off with some cocktails. My girlfriend order the Mockingbird which is their non alcoholic option and I ordered the Espresso martini. Both were fantastic and delicious. For food, we ordered the Heirloom Tomatoes, Pacific Tuna Crudo, Mussels, Sourdough bread, Branzino, and finished with dessert. Everything was delicious and obviously made with passion.This place is definitely on our list to visit again when we are back in the Phoenix area.

5 out of 5 amazing food. We tried the leave it to the kitchen 5-course meal. Every course was amazing. Everything tasted amazing, and every bite had amazing fun flavors. Can't even put into words how great everything tasted. Even the cocktails tasted amazing. We had food restrictions but that didn't stop the chef and his amazing team from putting together the 5-course meal together.
This place is a hidden gem. We felt the love that was put into the meals from the amazing fresh flavors. Every meal was designed and cooked to perfection variety of in-house jams, sauces, and desserts. Thank you to the chef and his team for making our date night special with their amazing food and atmosphere. ❤️
