At first glance, you would think it was not a place to order a steak, but I can tell you that it was juicy, tender, and it was well done like I like. I was shocked! Usually, well done is dry and hard. You order at counter but staff couldn't be friendlier. The food tasted like home. We haven't had a meal this good in a while. Don't let the location (strip mall) fool you, it was worth it. If I had to say one thing I didn't like, the soda was a little flat but still "fizzy", so that is a stretch. Good for kids and adults!

It was a short stay in this city. I was glad to meet the boss. The people here are very friendly. This is my best memory in this city. The steak is delicious. Every wall has its own unique decoration style. I will come back to see you again when I have time. My friends.

The reviews are true. A lovely place to have a casual meal. So many gems in Albuquerque and here's another. Lots of decor felt like a museum of rock and roll, military, and the owners history on the wall. Some live music at a nice level of volume. Classic burgers in 3 sizes. You add what ya want. Onion rings and fries are perfection! Can't wait to return!

Okay, so this place is a walk up to order type restaurant. No servers, which is completely fine with me.
We learned of this place when they first opened as we used to be acquaintances with the owner. We are happy to see it still has the small business feel!
Food quality is still as good as ever! Atmosphere is comfortable and nice. The collage of pictures everywhere is a nice touch. Wait wasn't bad at all.
Red Chile had a great flavor! I wouldn't consider it spicy, but it is flavorful. They have the Red Chile sauce on Wednesdays. I definitely recommend!
Green Chile wasn't spicy but had a good smokey flavor. I wouldn't come here specifically for the Green Chile.

Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch! Plenty of seating options. I highly recommend stop by this little gem in Albuquerque if you're looking for a good burger with a New Mexico flare.

My boyfriend and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. We can never get a photo before we eat because we love to just dive in. One day we were craving hamburgers and we came across this place, and we have never gone to any other hamburger place in town since!

They always have fresh chips and home made salsa for free. Their hamburgers are incredible! The mozzarella sticks are so cheesy and stringy. The onion rings are to die for. Their red chili hamburger (the Wednesday special) is something you HAVE to try! Their chocolate cake is homemade and delicious as well! Decently priced for a mom and pop shop. They always have live music and the owner is very friendly.

A standard diner feel in a hidden location with amazingly greasy and delicious food reminiscent of a 50's diner. We came here after an event, hungry after a small get together earlier in the day. Recommended highly by my best friend, we came here to try it. She quote "lived by their fried mushrooms" and to be honest I can see why. When we walked in, we were a little disoriented as to how to proceed, but simply follow the footsteps to yummy as laid out on the floor. The staff were very kind, thorough in ordering, and a lot of fun to interact with. We started with a piece of the coconut cake, and whilst neither of us are huge coconut people traditionally, we were super impressed by this delicious and moist treat. I can say from experience, the fried mushrooms with ranch were truly amazing. The grilled chicken tortilla sandwich was moist and flavorful, and thin French fries were fried to perfection. My husband opting for the burger, cooked to his liking, and the onion rings bigger then our hands. If you are looking for a true americana treat, I couldn't recommend them more.

Went here for dinner and I was really impressed! They had live music and were somewhat busy. The atmosphere was relaxed. I met the owner and other employees and they are all amazing. The burgers are great with yummy fries. They cook everything on the wood grill you can see from the front counter. They have fresh salsa they make in-house and chips available to everyone. I would definitely recommend going here. Not a fancy place, but they are absolutely fantastic.
