I have used Rover pet services three times in the last two years. The only person that I have had to come in my home to take care of my two wonderful cats is Tina. She has amazing. All you do is pay a small amount of money and they come take care of your animals every day if you want or every other day. They will send you pictures of your pets, and if they come out from hiding, they will pet them and give them a little cuddle. Rover is a wonderful service. The app is easy to understand and you were able to put all of your information on it such as your vet pictures of your animals. They even go above and beyond making sure that you’re home is OK the second time we left for Hawaii. Somehow the freezer was slightly opened. Tina was able to shut it, save all the food and call us and let us know what happened and was there anything she wanted her to do, it know that your animals are safe while you are away it takes away all of your fears and anxieties and I am grateful for the service. I will continue to use Rover and hopefully Tina for future vacations.

The nice thing about this service is it doesn't force you to pay a monthly subscription to use. We needed dog care for a one time use and luckily we were able to find someone on this app within an hour. A great variety to choose from and a much better userface. Happy with the services provided

Great way to come back to a dead dog! They don't vet their employees. Take your dog to a reputable kennel not this backyard stuff. Poor Pugslee....Died at the hands of one of Rover's staff

Please note that is a review of Rover, not all the really great people that are providing services. Unfortunately, our two wonderful dogs were completed neglected by the sitter we chose in spite of their great reviews. The neglect reached a point that they were not properly fed for a week during our trip and were emaciated, they were placed in an enclosure and not walked by the sitter and their family members. All the pictures provided were staged. We called the emergency number upon walking onto the property to collect our dogs discovering their condition. To date, Rover has done absolutely nothing to provide support, investigate, or even contact us after we provided them video and photo proof of the neglect and conditions. The warning here for any person that feels that Rover will not only vet the sitters or support their client base is absolutely wrong. Their focus is their fees, not your pet's wellbeing. As there are some wonderful individuals offering services, please ensure that you check on your choice and do not rely on Rover for anything other than an advertising platform. The final result from our side was to contact the city animal services and file a complaint that they took seriously to actually looked into the neglect.

Worst company ever Had a sitter booked to watch my dog so I could go out of town for my birthday weekend. At 2 am the morning of my flight (7am) I was notified my sitter had canceled. Rover did nothing to find a new sitter! Offered a $20 credit towards my next use of their services! I had to cancel an entire trip and am out almost $500!!! Rover didn't care. 2 days later I received an email offering to help find a sitter for THE DAY BEFORE!!!! Terrible company. Find any other service to care for your pets because this company clearly does not.

I boarded my dog with a Rover sitter and my dog died under their care. He was 3 years old in perfect health, and the autopsy confirmed this. The Rover guarantee is a lie and they did not reimburse us for the hospital bills and this has been going on for 4 months now and still no closure! Do not use Rover they are disorganized and a terrible company to deal with. They do not care about their customers and do not vet their sitters. Protect your pet and use a different company.

Read all of their complaints on Better Business Bureau before even choosing them! I failed to do so and now have to deal with this mess. It is impossible to reach to Rover's customer service for issues and cancellation. They make you submit a ticket to cancel a request. You never know if the ticket will ever go to a person for review while a pending charge is on your credit card. I will submit a complaint to Better Business Bureau if Rover does not provide an update within 48 hours.

Our dogs were left in Danger Rover did nothing. They just lost one of their biggest fans. We booked a house sitter that we interviewed twice, she signed up to stay at our house but has a young daughter with some challenges, we were hesitant but felt for them and said ok to the booking, made her at home, said she and her daughter could use the pool. She was to be at our house day and night with our two dogs with the exception she could do her drop-by for clients, a few a day, an hour at a time. We got on your cruise ship and before we left, we checked in, only to find she had not been at our home for 5 hours. We sent her a message and she then said she would go back a few times a day to take care of the dogs because she had other commitments, not at ALL what we agreed. She then said if we don't like it to find someone else. Of course, we will, I immediately canceled on Rover, we got off our Cruise just before it took off to Mexico and filed the complaint with Rover. This was FIVE days ago, and after 3 emails to Rover, we have not received a single response, When we said, that dogs were in danger NOTHING. Rover did NOTHING and is still holding our money. We have used Rover for a long time but don’t be fooled by their insurance or that they will be there when your pets are in danger, They DID NOTHING they will do NOTHING. We found new sitters, both that left Rover, I can see why. They are now THIEVES that have stolen our money, BBB is next
