My coworkers and I went to lunch for my birthday and unfortunately, we didn't have the best time. We had a group of 6. Everything started out fine, but then headed south quickly. First, the good(e) part: the crab bisque was delicious. No shells in mine and honestly, I would have licked the bowl if it was acceptable. It truly was very good(e). The fried green tomatoes were good(e). That's about it.
The ranch dressing served with the fried green tomatoes was a little bit heavy with lemon. I love lemon, but not so much in my ranch dressing. For my main dish, I ordered the crab fettuccine. It was okay, but I had to keep spitting out shell. It was enough for two meals, but the shell pieces was a huge turn off. For the others at the table, one of my coworkers dish arrived incorrectly and another one didn't even get their food until 10 minutes after the other five dishes arrived. Lastly, they do not have sweet tea. I don't understand this in Texas, but it's not a deal breaker. Just disappointing.
For the issues we had, the manager was kind enough to comp the two meals and added on 2 free desserts for the birthday. Our waitress came back and explained that it was her 3rd day alone on the floor and she got overwhelmed. That is completely understandable, but I still have to review in honesty.
The atmosphere is very ocean vibe inside. Tall ceilings with a bar in the middle. I have to go back for the crab bisque, so maybe next time I'll saddle up to the drinking well area and have a cocktail.

This location is quite different from the one in River Oaks—it's much larger and has a more modern feel. I came here for a group lunch, and the service was attentive and efficient. Their most popular appetizer was well-executed, but unfortunately, the dish I ordered didn’t live up to expectations. The bacon-wrapped shrimp with cheese was overpowering, with the cheese dominating the dish and the bacon fat making it too greasy.

I also tried the gumbo, which was fairly standard, but it was served a bit cold, so I think it would have been more enjoyable if it had been hotter. My friends had the burger, which was generously sized, and they were impressed with the fries, which were crispy and flavorful. The other dish grill red fish is also decent. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, but it’s worth being selective about what you order to ensure you get the best of what they offer.

So our server was fantastic no complaints there. Crab cake was delicious and that’s where I will end. Fish was tasteless and dry. Spinach was so salty that was uneatable . My friends did not enjoy their food either. Granted they did not express that openly. My main dish was removed from the tab. The interior is also not my preference but I did notice cute designer mirrors in the bathroom hall that was a nice touch.

Joann was the best waitress hands down explained everything so well , good spirit , & good vibes . all the food was a 10/10. also Taylor the hostess was also sweet that seated my family . would definitely recommend this place this location!

The waiter was so nice and helpful. He was prompt with refills and the food. He even stopped to give us some tips on making fajitas at home. The food was good and served quickly.

Goode Company Seafood is located along I-10, near Memorial City Mall. It has a diner layout with lots of windows on 2 sides. We sat in a half-booth, half-table seating area. Since it was Easter, I had made a reservation for noon, but most of my party arrived early and was seated immediately. The waitstaff arrived promptly and took our drink/appetizer order. After all of my group arrived, we placed our lunch order and asked for separate tickets upon completion of our meal. The staff had no issue with us asking for separate tickets. The service and food were excellent. Everyone remarked that their food was prepared wonderfully, and they were definitely returning in the future. Some of us needed To-Go containers because the portions were plentiful .

Wow! We spent an evening here for a birthday celebration. We were able to use the room upstairs (who knew it was there?) and it was incredible! It felt like a speak easy and was beautifully decorated. It had a coastal, private, elegant atmosphere. I'm picky with my seafood, and their food was elite. The wait staff was 10/10. Great service, fun vibe, and fresh food! We will absolutely recommend to friends. If you have an event and want a spot that is unique, this is your spot.

Absolutely amazing food, and great service.
I had a dozen oysters (pictured) and the red snapper special (pictured) with seafood rice. Everything was amazing, and will be returning next time I am in town.
