I have never been to a Chili's restaurant before and TikTok convinced me I needed to try their sample platter (triple dipper), absolutely delicious. The restaurant was understaffed, it was an odd day. Long wait to be seated, long wait to be served and me and my husband were the only ones there. Our waiter was lovely and I believed her manager, a great guy, explained to us why it was taking so long and that was not normal. We had our meal and TikTok was right, it was delicious and it was worth the wait. We came back another day as well when it was fully staffed and it was a great experience.

Our family decided to wrap up our spring break with a dinner at Chili's located at 12131 Katy Freeway. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable, leaving a sour taste in our mouths.

To start, we ordered mac and cheese for my daughter, while I opted for the smokehouse combo. To our dismay, the food was anything but fresh. The back ribs in my combo were dry and stale, lacking the tenderness and succulence one would expect from such a dish. The mac and cheese was a similar disappointment, devoid of the creamy, cheesy goodness that should be a given in this classic comfort food.

Upon expressing our concerns to the server, we were met with an unapologetic response. Rather than addressing the issue, he merely stated that the staff doesn't touch the ingredients - they just open the bag and heat it up. This lack of accountability and the poor quality of the food we received was truly disheartening.

For a restaurant that prides itself on providing a quality dining experience, Chili's at 12131 Katy Freeway fell extremely short of expectations. With a myriad of other dining options available, I would not recommend wasting your time or money here.

These people are thieves! My special needs son lost his iPhone there. When I saw the location it said it was still there. When I went back to look for it at the table, it wasn’t there. A waitress help me look all over the area but it was nowhere to be found. It kept pinging there and it seemed like someone had it and was walking around with it. I posted the phone lost and to call my number if found. I kept calling and the person whoever had it rejected the call. Finally after having enough and knowing FOR A FACT it was there I went up there; told the manger the situation and threatened to call the police because it was clearly there and an employee had it. I followed the phone and it kept taking me to the bar area. I told the hostess that was helping me that it seemed the bartender had it. She agreed and went to talk to the manager. The manager disappeared for 15 mins or so and came back with my son’s phone claiming some bs that it was locked in the office and no one had access to it since the day manager left. BS!!! He was covering for that thief bartender. Needless to say I will never be coming back to this location again! That bartender has no business working in that kind of industry if she’s going to be stealing from customers, she might steal from the company too!

Like other locations, this one also has bar on one side and the general dining areas on the other. However, because of the special and larger lobby area, this one feels a bit of higher scale to me. Food and drinks are of the same consistent levels of quality that I deem excellent. Seeing the rather large crowd of customers during my visit, this is at least quite a popular lunch place.

The food is good . Service is really slow. Most of the time.I go there for lunchtime and most of the tables are empty. You can wait forever till anyone will come to you to get an order. And for people who have one hour for lunch, it's really important.
Anyway, there are a few waitresses who are friendly,nice, and quick. So sometimes you can be surprised with a really good service.

Second time here this month for a Togo order. The first time customer service was good, had free chips and salsa, my kid had chicken tenders, but the bowl of chili was very salty. I liked the location so brushed it aside. So I returned aweek later and got the southwestern eggrolls it was mep. And the Nashville mozarella, OMG it was salty like something toxic. So I come here to read reviews, and read about the bartender stealing a customer's child's phone? That put it over the top, never going back to this place again. I don't associate with dishonest ppl or ppl who hire dishonest ppl.

Service is mostly good depending on time of day. Food has always been brought out fresh and their burgers are great. Plenty of parking and seating. Clean. For best value, it’s most worth it ordering their deals.

It had been a couple of years since I've patronized a Chili's and I was pleasantly surprised with the meal I had. I had the 3 for me special drink, baked potato soup as an appetizer then the old timer hamburger for $10.99. It was a good deal and very good.
